Hunter W. Morris
Attorney – Personal Injury & Probate Law
Hunter W. Morris is the founding attorney of our firm, where he focuses his practice on personal injury and probate matters. A native of Louisville, Kentucky, Hunter brings a down-to-earth approach to the practice of law – treating every client like family and advocating with compassion, clarity, and conviction.
Hunter earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Auburn University in 2000 and went on to receive his Juris Doctor from the Salmon P. Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University in 2005. He has been licensed to practice in South Carolina since 2006 and admitted to the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina since 2008. In addition to his active practice, Hunter has taught numerous Continuing Legal Education (CLE) courses focused on personal injury litigation and probate administration.
Before opening his own practice in 2010, Hunter spent four years at law firms concentrating on personal injury cases. Since then, he has handled thousands of accident cases and tried dozens to jury verdict, earning a reputation for skillful trial advocacy and client-centered service. His excellence in practice has been recognized with a Martindale-Hubbell AV Preeminent rating – the highest possible distinction for legal ability and ethical standards.
Hunter is a member of the South Carolina Bar Association, the Greenville County Bar Association, and the South Carolina Association for Justice. Deeply committed to the local community, he is a past president of Mental Health America of Greenville County and has helped raise over $150,000 for the organization through an annual golf tournament hosted by the firm.
Inspired by a family legacy of legal service – his father and grandfather both practiced law for over 40 years – Hunter entered the profession with a strong desire to help others. He believes in being approachable, responsive, and genuinely invested in each client’s outcome. His philosophy is simple: treat people how you’d want to be treated.
Outside the office, Hunter enjoys golf and traveling to new destinations. He lives in Greenville with his wife, Jennifer, their son, Wyatt, and their two dogs, Woody and Ellie. A proud Louisville native, Hunter still holds a deep appreciation for bourbon, basketball, and horse racing.
Fun fact: Hunter once played a pivotal role in helping exonerate a man serving a life sentence for a crime he did not commit – an experience that continues to fuel his dedication to justice.
